A screen that is blank, flipped, mirrored or fuzzy on one unit of a pair is annoying, and there are two checks worth making before we arrange anything.
Fit fresh batteries first. Chatter runs on replaceable batteries rather than a rechargeable one, and low power can show up as a dim, flickering or blank display before anything else complains.
Restore the firmware from code.circuitmess.com on a desktop computer running Chrome, Edge or Opera. If the display driver or the software got into a bad state, this puts the unit back to how it shipped, and it fixes a share of flipped and garbled screens.
Please do not open the screen connection or press on the display — if the picture is still wrong with fresh batteries and after a firmware restore, the fault is one for us.
Email [email protected] with your order number, a photo of the screen showing the problem, and a short video of it from power-on. Say whether it was like this out of the box or changed later — the two point at different causes.
