Get in touch and we will sort it out. The Artemis Watch 2.0 is one of the few things we make that arrives fully assembled — there is nothing for you to build and nothing you are expected to repair — so if it is not behaving, that is ours to put right rather than yours.
That covers all of it: a button or knob that sticks, does not respond or feels loose, a screen that is blank, frozen or hard to read, a watch that will not charge or will not switch on, a case that has come apart, or anything that simply does not seem right.
Two things worth trying first, because they fix a good share of cases
Charge it for a full hour with the cable that came in the box, then take it off and try again. A watch that has run completely flat can sit on a blank screen until it has taken some charge.
If you have been coding on it, restore the stock firmware from code.circuitmess.com. CircuitBlocks writes a MicroPython image over the firmware the watch shipped with, so until that firmware is restored the watch will not behave like a watch. Nothing is damaged by the swap.
Please do not open the case. It is not designed to come apart, and opening it will not help.
Then message us here at [email protected] with:
your order number
a photo of the watch showing the problem
a short video if it is a moving part or something intermittent — five seconds of video usually saves two or three emails
A person reads every message. If the watch arrived faulty, putting it right costs you nothing — see Do your kits have a warranty? Please wait for us to confirm an address before sending anything back, because we ship from several regional warehouses and returns go to different ones.
One case has its own faster route: if the watch froze or went white while you were coding on it, that is almost always the program rather than the watch — My Artemis Watch 2.0 froze or shows a white screen after coding walks through restoring it at home.
If the restore itself will not run — the browser cannot see the device, or it stops part-way — see The firmware restore at code.circuitmess.com fails or cannot find my device.
