Do your kits have a warranty?

Yes: a 24-month parts warranty alongside your EU legal guarantee, with defective parts replaced free and damage charged after a quote.

If a kit is faulty, not as described, or doesn't do what it should, you're covered. Here's how that works.

WHAT THE LAW GIVES YOU (EU and EEA)

You have a legal guarantee that runs for at least two years from the day your kit is delivered, and longer in some countries. Under it you can ask us to repair or replace the kit free of charge, including the shipping both ways. If neither is possible, or it takes too long, you can ask for a price reduction or return it for a refund.

For at least the first year after delivery, and two years in some countries, a fault is assumed to have been there from the start. You don't have to prove it.

OUR 24-MONTH PARTS WARRANTY

Alongside that, we run our own 24-month parts warranty. It doesn't extend your legal guarantee and it doesn't replace it - the two run at the same time. It's simply how we handle faulty parts in practice.

Keep your invoice, as that's what we use as proof of purchase.

If a part turns out to be genuinely defective, we send you a free replacement. We don't do physical repairs on devices. Instead we ship you the part you need and guide you through fitting it yourself.

If a part was broken in use or assembly rather than faulty to begin with, for example dropped, mis-assembled, wired the wrong way, overheated or forced, we can still send you a replacement, but in that case we have to charge for the part. We'll always quote you the price first, so nothing is ever charged without you agreeing to it.

Our warranty is measured from your purchase date, while your legal guarantee runs from delivery. So if our 24 months have run out, that doesn't automatically mean your legal rights have. Tell us and we'll look at it properly.

Beyond all of that, we offer lifetime troubleshooting help for as long as you own the device. That's help working out what's wrong, not free parts.

Not sure whether you're looking at a defect or accidental damage? Write to us at [email protected], tell us what happened and send a photo if you can. We'll look at it with you and tell you where you stand.
