We cannot confirm it yet, and that is an unsatisfying answer when you are deciding whether to pay for one. MAKERphone 2.0's cellular bands and VoLTE support are not confirmed, so we cannot promise that it will work on your network in your country.
Our Kickstarter campaign closed on 10 October 2026, and MAKERphone 2.0 is now available as a pre-order in our web shop. What we have shown so far, including which SIM card it takes, is on the MAKERphone 2.0 product page. Specifications are announced on the product page as they are settled, so it is worth checking there.
Nothing written about the original MAKERphone, sold as Ringo, carries over. That was a different kit and it has been discontinued.
