That is a poor start to a build, and it is straightforward to put right. Stop where you are and report it before assembling any further. A part that arrived defective, or that was missing from the box, is replaced free of charge.
If the Time Attack Controller's screen comes on and then goes dark a moment later, treat that as a fault to report rather than something to build around. The same applies to a cracked casing or a board that arrived visibly damaged.
If the car simply does not respond to the controller, that is more likely to be pairing than damage. The controller is paired using its touchpad, and you steer with the joystick and buttons once it is paired.
To report a fault, message us here, or email [email protected], with:
your order number
a photo of the part, or a short video if the fault only shows when the device is switched on
which part it is, using the names from the box contents list: Model Casing, Vehicle PCB, Electric Motors, Wheels & Tires, Battery holders, Controller PCB, Controller Casing, Servo Motor, Tools & Accessories or LED Headlights
A part broken during assembly or in use is charged for, and we quote the price before anything is sent.
The kit carries a 24-month parts warranty alongside the two-year statutory guarantee that applies in the EU and EEA from the date of delivery.
