I opened my kit and a part is missing.

What to do if a part is missing from your kit when you open the box, and why the replacement is free.

If a part is missing from the box, email us at [email protected] with your order number, a photo of everything you received, and the name of the part that’s missing. A component missing from the box is our packing error, so we send the replacement free of charge. You don’t need to return your kit.

Not sure which part is missing? Every product page on circuitmess.com lists what should be in the box, and the build guide for your kit at circuitmess.com/blogs/resources has the full component list.

If the part did arrive but is faulty, or broke while you were building, that’s a different case. Send us a photo and we’ll confirm what’s needed — see “Do your kits have a warranty?” for how replacements work.
