We’ll confirm what the replacement should be and quote you the price before anything is charged, paid through our normal online checkout. We won’t charge you without giving you the price first. Two honest notes: depending on the part, a replacement may come as the assembly the piece belongs to rather than the loose component — and for standard small hardware such as screws, 3 mm LEDs and plain switches, the fastest route is often a local electronics or hardware shop, where we will tell you the exact size and type to ask for.
Include photos of the part with your message. If it turns out the component was defective rather than damaged in use, the replacement is free under our warranty — we’ll tell you which applies once we’ve seen the photos. See Do your kits have a warranty?.
