The Electric Screwdriver box contains the rechargeable screwdriver, a durable plastic tool case, 38 interchangeable precision bits, a built-in magnetiser in the case, and a user manual.
It turns at 150 RPM with 0.3 Nm of electric torque. That is calibrated for precision electronics, so it drives the small screws in CircuitMess kits without stripping them.
Charging is over a standard Type-C cable at DC 5 V. The 500 mAh battery takes about an hour to fill.
If the battery runs flat part-way through a build, you can keep going by hand. The tool supports 0.3 Nm of manual torque, so it tightens and loosens screws like an ordinary screwdriver.
The case has a magnetiser zone. Run a bit across it and the bit will hold a tiny screw while you line it up.
You do not need this tool to build a kit. Kits that go together with screws, such as Jay-D 2.0 and Wheelson 2.0, already include a screwdriver in the box, so the electric one is an optional upgrade that shortens long builds. It is also not a substitute for the Tools Pack if your kit needs soldering.
