I got my Ringo and the casing is broken. What should I do?

Applies to Ringo (MAKERphone), a discontinued CircuitMess kit. What to do if your Ringo's casing is broken, and when a replacement casing is free or charged.

Take a clear photo of the damaged casing and email it to [email protected] with your order number and a short description of what happened. We’ll look at the photo and arrange a replacement casing. You don’t need to return the damaged one.

Whether there’s anything to pay depends on how the casing broke, and we’ll confirm which applies once we’ve seen your photo:

  • If it arrived broken, or was faulty from the start, the replacement is free, postage included.

  • If it cracked while you were building with it or using it, we can still send a new one, but it is charged. We always quote you the price first, and nothing is charged until you agree.

You can carry on assembling the rest of your Ringo while you wait. For the full picture on what’s covered, see “Do your kits have a warranty?”.
