Do the kits come with a physical instruction manual?Updated 8 hours ago

At CircuitMess, we want to ensure your building experience is as smooth as possible. Here is how we provide our instructions to keep you on the right track:

Printed Manuals vs. Digital Guides

To provide the best hands-on experience, almost all of our kits (including fan-favorites like Chatter and ByteBoi) come with a high-quality printed build guide included right in the box. We know there’s nothing quite like following along with a physical manual as you solder and assemble your creation!

The Exception: The NASA Perseverance Mars Rover

You might notice that our NASA Perseverance Mars Rover kit is an exception. Because the Rover is our most complex and detailed project to date, its instructions are incredibly long. To significantly reduce paper waste and remain eco-friendly, we provide the Rover’s guide in a digital-only format. This allows us to include high-resolution zoomable photos and interactive steps that would be impossible to fit in a standard printed book.

Why We Love Digital Resources

Even for kits that include a printed manual, we always recommend checking out our Digital Resource Center. By hosting our guides online, we can:

  • Stay Up-to-Date: We constantly update our guides based on community feedback to ensure every step is crystal clear.

  • Provide Better Visuals: Access high-resolution photos and video tutorials that you can pause and rewind.

  • Stay Eco-Friendly: Reducing unnecessary printing helps us lower our environmental footprint.
