Synthia 2.0's drum machine has four voices: kick, snare, clap and hi-hats. What you play on them is held by the sequencer, so a beat can be memorised and arranged rather than played once.
Alongside the drum voices, Synthia 2.0 arrives with a set of preloaded sounds. You can play those as they are, tweak them, or create new ones.
The sampler records through a microphone built into the device, so a sound you make yourself can be captured and used in a track next to the preloaded ones.
For shaping any of that, Synthia 2.0 has:
a high-pass filter
a low-pass filter
reverb
Robofy, an effect specific to Synthia
Synthia 2.0 can also be coded once it is built, which is the route to customising its sounds further.
If a control or a sound does not behave as described after your build, message us here, or email [email protected], with your order number and a short description of what you are hearing.
