No. Wheelson 2.0 has one visible-light camera and no other environmental sensor. There is no LiDAR, no thermal camera, no HDR imaging and no distance sensor of any kind.
The camera is an OV2640 module that captures 160x120 frames. Everything Wheelson does with those frames is computer vision running on its own ESP32 processor:
object recognition
ArUco marker following
line and road following
colour-ball tracking
The rest of its onboard sensing is six navigation buttons and a battery-voltage monitor on its Nuvoton N76E616 co-processor.
Wheelson drives in the dark using switchable white headlight LEDs, not by detecting heat. Because it judges its surroundings from the picture alone, it needs light on the scene in front of it, so switch the headlights on in a dim room.
The behaviours themselves are unaffected. Self-driving, object recognition and line following all work; they are camera-based rather than drawn from several different sensors.
