What is the CircuitMess Rimac Nevera?

It is a DIY kit that builds a working, remote-controlled replica of the Rimac Nevera hypercar, together with the Time Attack Controller that drives it.

Is it really a functional replica?

Yes. It drives, steers, races and lights up, using real electric motors and batteries rather than a fixed display model.

Do I need to solder?

No. Soldering is not needed at any point in the build. You assemble the kit with the booklet guide that comes in the box, and if your booklet is missing, the same steps are online in the Build Guide on the CircuitMess Resources page. Where to find the Rimac Nevera build guide has the details.

What will I learn by building it?

Hardware assembly, the mechanics of how an electric drivetrain works, a little electric vehicle history, and coding, once the car is running and you start changing what it does.

How do I drive the car?

With the Time Attack Controller you build alongside it. Pair the two using the touchpad, then steer with the precision joystick and use the buttons for the car's other functions.

Can I modify how the car works?

Yes. Connect the car to a computer and program it in CircuitBlocks, our block-based editor, which writes MicroPython. Custom light shows and driving sequences are the usual first projects. One thing to know before you start: uploading your own code overwrites the firmware the car ships with, so touchpad pairing, joystick steering and Boost Mode stop working until you use Restore stock firmware in CircuitBlocks, which puts the car back exactly as it was.
