What is Clockstar 2.0?

Clockstar 2.0 is a smartwatch you assemble yourself and can then program. It arrives as parts — acrylic casings, watch strap, Li-Po battery, main circuit board and screws — and you put them together into a working watch. The board carries the display, the gyroscope and accelerometer that sense movement, and the Bluetooth module.

What will I learn by building Clockstar 2.0?

How a wearable is actually put together: what each component does, how they connect, and how the finished watch uses them. If you want to go further, you can then program it yourself. Coding is optional — the watch works as a watch without writing a line.

What age range is Clockstar 2.0 suitable for?

We recommend it for ages 9 and up. Some of the parts are small and the instructions are detailed, so it suits children who have built something before. Younger children manage it too, usually with an adult alongside.

Do I need any prior experience to build Clockstar 2.0?

No. It is designed for beginners, and the instructions take you through every step in order. No previous electronics experience is needed.

How long does it take to build Clockstar 2.0?

What features does Clockstar 2.0 have?

It shows the time and date and includes an alarm and a stopwatch. It connects to your phone over Bluetooth, and you can add your own watch faces, animations and simple motion-controlled games using the built-in gyroscope.

Can I code my own apps for Clockstar 2.0?
