Ringo updates itself over Wi-Fi from the Settings app. Ringo is no longer in production, so the check will find the last published release rather than a new one.
You will need a wireless network within reach before you start.
Unlock the phone by holding down the # button.
Use the joystick to scroll down to the Settings app, then down to About & update at the bottom of the list.
Select Check for update. Ringo switches to the Wi-Fi screen so you can join a network.
If an update is available, Ringo downloads and installs it on its own. Leave it switched on until it finishes.
If Ringo will not join your network, "My Ringo can't connect to the network" covers that side of it. If the download starts and then stops, message us here, or email [email protected], and tell us the version shown under About & update.
