Do I need to understand how every single component works before I start building?

No, you do not need to. Our kits are built so that you learn as you go, and you need no prior electronics knowledge to start.

Each step of the assembly guide explains what you are doing and why, so by the time the kit is finished you will understand how the components work together. The learning happens through your hands rather than ahead of time.

If you would rather read something first, all our guides are in one place on the Resources page: build guides, anatomy guides explaining what each component does, and coding tutorials from beginner to advanced.

Starting is the main thing. If a step does not make sense, message us here, or email [email protected], and we will walk you through it.
