No, the Batmobile does not require any soldering. It's designed to go together without a soldering iron, which makes it a good choice if you're new to electronics or building alongside a younger maker. You don't need our Tools Pack for this kit.
If your Batmobile isn't working, it won't be a solder joint. The usual causes are a connector that isn't fully seated, the firmware, or a faulty component, and we're happy to help you work through it.
