Can I use rechargeable batteries in my DIY kit?Updated a day ago

We strongly recommend using standard alkaline batteries rather than rechargeable ones. Rechargeable batteries typically have a lower voltage (1.2V) compared to alkaline batteries (1.5V).

Because our kits are packed with high-tech components like screens, Wi-Fi modules, and LEDs, they require a steady 1.5V to operate correctly. Using rechargeable batteries can lead to:

  • Connection drops (especially with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth).

  • Flickering screens or dim LEDs.

  • Unexpected resetting of the device during operation.

For the best and most stable experience, please stick to high-quality alkaline batteries!
